Si tratta del cosiddetto “Sottopassaggio rosso” che, oltre a consentire l’accesso ai binari, collega le due aree della città separate dai binari: Piazza Aldo Moro e Extramurale Capruzzi.

Le Ferrovie dello Stato garantiscono in Puglia un servizio di assistenza ai disabili nelle stazioni di Bari Centrale, Lecce, Brindisi, Monopoli, Taranto, Barletta, Foggia e San Severo, effettuando circa 6.000 accompagnamenti all’anno, di cui circa 1.000 dedicati ai non vedenti. La rete di assistenza è gestita da Rete Ferroviaria Italiana in qualità manager of infrastructure, third party with respect to all railway companies operating in the country.
